I’m absolutely thrilled to share the fantastic news that, thanks to your incredible support, we’ve reached an astounding milestone. Drumroll, please… DoggyLottery has raised £100,000 for dog charities in need! This is not just a number; it’s a testament to the boundless love and kindness that our wonderful community possesses.

It’s even been highlighted in our local paper, check it out!

The journey to this remarkable achievement started with an extraordinary rescue dog – my Beautie. A three-legged superstar, Beautie has been my lifeline. You see, she didn’t just rescue me; she became the driving force behind an initiative that has touched the lives of countless furry friends in need.

After adopting Beautie and experiencing the grief of losing my dad just weeks later, I realised the profound impact our canine companions can have on our lives. Their loyalty, their boundless love, and their ability to be our pillars of strength during the darkest times – it’s a remarkable gift they offer us. Beautie inspired me to do more for rescue dogs, and so, in the midst of lockdown, DoggyLottery was born.

DoggyLottery isn’t just your average charity lottery. We’re unique because we proudly support four different dog charities each month. This distinctive approach allows us to provide aid to a wide range of shelters and rescue organisations, making a real difference in the lives of our furry friends.

It’s heartwarming to know that the impact of DoggyLottery has reached over 100 different dog rescue centres across the country. To see who we have raised money for, please go to the overview on our website.

We are obviously very proud of our achievements, but the challenges are still immense. There are over 1,000 rescues in the UK, and they’re at breaking point. The impact of COVID, combined with the recent cost of living crisis, has only added to their struggles. More dogs than ever are being surrendered, and fewer people are applying to adopt them.

The truth is, rescues desperately need our help. Most of them are run by volunteers and rely on donations to survive. So, here’s a massive “THANK YOU” to each and every one of you who has supported us. We’re immensely proud of what we’ve achieved, but we also know that there’s so much more work to be done. Your unwavering generosity, your commitment to our cause, and your love for dogs have gotten us this far.

With every pound raised, we’re getting closer to our mission – one paw at a time. So here’s to you, our wonderful supporters, and here’s to the amazing dogs whose lives you’ve transformed. Your kindness is changing the world for them, and we’re in this together!

Lots of love,

Lisette & Beautie x
