Today we are celebrating our second anniversary! They say time flies when you are having fun and it most certainly does.
It’s been a hard year with many ups and downs. I will be honest, there have even been moments that I felt like giving up. But what keeps me going is my DoggyWarriors community. The support you give me is incredible. All the lovely messages, emails and comments give me the energy to keep fighting as there is much more work to do.
Let’s have a look at the positives:
In year one we raised over £25,000 but to be able to say that in year two we more than doubled that and have raised over £60,000 has just blown me away. I can’t thank you enough. This is making a big difference to the rescue centres we support.
This might sound crazy but I’m positive we can hit the £100k within the next year.
In December 2022, we transitioned into DoggyWarriors. Now offering various ways of getting involved and joining our community. Because of this, we were able to participate in our first ever in person event this summer at Dogs Day Out Manchester, which was so much fun!
And last but not least, we have received numerous prestigious awards.

Even though it’s been a challenging year, I think it is fair to say it has also been one with many successes and it’s worthy of celebrating our second anniversary.
