From day one, Woof Wag Festival has been rooted in one simple, beautiful idea – when dog lovers come together, truly amazing things happen. While we always set out to create a fun-filled day for dogs and their humans, there is a much deeper current at play beneath the surface. This isn’t just an event on a field, it’s a living, breathing community where every single person, and every single pup, feels like they truly belong.
The festival serves as a place where people and dogs can build confidence, forge lifelong connections, and share in a collective purpose. That purpose is, quite simply, the boundless love of dogs. We believe that when you create a space based on empathy and shared passion, you don’t just host an event; you spark a movement of kindness and mutual support.
A Natural Partnership: Woof Wag Festival and DoggyWarriors
We have followed the work of DoggyWarriors for many years, watching with admiration as they’ve championed the cause of rescue dogs. Their dedication to fundraising, raising awareness, and fostering real community action is a mission that resonates with our core values. They don’t just talk about change, they roll up their sleeves and make it happen.
That is exactly why partnering with DoggyWarriors felt like such an organic, natural fit. When we reached out, we weren’t looking for a corporate sponsor, we were looking for a kindred spirit. We were absolutely delighted when they jumped on board with such infectious enthusiasm. Together, we aren’t just planning a dog festival, we are building a platform for advocacy and joy for dogs in the community.
More Than Just a Day Out
When you step onto the festival grounds, you’ll quickly realise it’s so much more than a date on the calendar. It’s a space where every shared moment, from a high-five to a high-paw, adds up to something bigger. It’s a place where you can:
- Find Your Tribe: Meet a community of like-minded owners who ‘get it.’
- Discover New Skills: Engage in activities that deepen the bond between you and your pet.
- Celebrate the Bond: Dive into experiences designed to honour the incredible dogs who make our lives whole.
From insightful talks by professional pet experts to interactive experiences tailored for every canine personality, the festival is packed with confidence-boosting moments. We love seeing ‘velcro dogs’ take those brave first steps away from their owners to explore, and watching high-energy pups thrive in safe, controlled spaces. To us, seeing a dog’s tail go from tucked to wagging is the ultimate metric of success. This is what a healthy, vibrant community looks like in action.
A Partnership with Real Heart
What makes the partnership with DoggyWarriors so special is its authenticity. Neither of us is here for the sake of appearances or showcasing a brand. We are here because we care deeply about dog wellbeing and the people who love them.
The work of DoggyWarriors goes far beyond simple advocacy, it is rooted in the belief that everyday people can make a massive difference for dogs in need. Their focus on compassion and confidence fits hand-in-paw with our own vision. By combining our resources and our audiences, we are able to turn a one-day event into a year-round catalyst for change.
Ripples of Change
While the energy at the festival is joyful and uplifting, the impact doesn’t stop when the sun goes down and the vans are packed away. The magic of Woof Wag Festival ripples outward into the weeks and months that follow.
Owners head home feeling more confident in their training abilities. Families discover new ways to support their dogs. Our community realises that even small actions, buying a raffle ticket, sharing a post, or learning a new enrichment technique, can create big change.
Partnering with DoggyWarriors helps those ripples travel even further. Together, we hope to inspire you to carry that sense of purpose home with you. Dogs truly bring out the best in us, they teach us about patience, loyalty, and unconditional love. When passionate people and organisations join forces, that impact becomes exponential.
We couldn’t be prouder to stand side-by-side with DoggyWarriors. Together, we are creating unforgettable experiences, strengthening our community, and ensuring that every dog, whether they have a ‘forever home’ yet or not, feels a little more loved, a little more seen, and a lot more supported.
If you fancy coming along to something unique, the Woof Wag Festival is happening on Saturday 16th May. We will be at the iconic Wicksteed Park in Kettering, Northants where you can also take the opportunity to check out the extra amenities in the 147 acres park.
If you like to plan ahead (like us), you can pop the dates for the 2027 Woof Wag Festival into your diary. We are ramping up the fun by making it a two-day festival on 22-23 May 2027.
