As we mark our third anniversary, we reflect on another extraordinary year filled with immense support and achievements. The journey hasn’t been without challenges, but our amazing DoggyWarriors community has been the driving force behind our success, motivating us to keep fighting for the dogs in need.
Over the past year, we are excited to announce that we have raised over £90,000 for more than 80 different dog charities! This huge amount is making a significant difference to the rescue centres we support, and we couldn’t be prouder of the impact we’ve made together.
Our efforts and mission have caught the attention of various media outlets, including Woman & Home, Manchester Evening News, Yorkshire Evening Post, and Wakefield Express. We even had the privilege of going live on radio with Anna Webb and being featured on the award-winning podcast PetPix with Vasi Siedman.
Participating in events has been a highlight of our year. We were so pleased to be part of Ackworth Gala, Santa Paws by Ex-Paw Manchester, and Rockello Christmas Market Castleford. Hosting the official charity lottery for PAAWstival 2022 was a great honour, raising funds for incredible dog charities like Wild At Heart Foundation, StreetVet, Dogs 4 Rescue, Nowzad Rescue, and Ark Doris UK. Meeting the talented and handsome David Gandy at the event was an unforgettable treat.
Theo Paphitis’ annual #SBS event was another highlight, which we attended for the second year after winning the #sbs award in 2021. It was fantastic meeting up with so many fellow dog businesses.
We also launched our new “My Dog Rescued Me” mug, supporting the ‘Give a dog a Christmas dinner’ campaign hosted by the Manchester and Cheshire Dogs’ Home, providing more than 100 dogs with a festive feast.
Through forming special partnerships with the PAAW House Foundation, Kool K9 Kids, and My Anxious Dog, we’ve strengthened our impact and extended our reach.
Our success would not have been possible without the incredible support of our DoggyWarriors community. Your dedication and belief in our mission have kept us going even during challenging times. A special shout out to those who have been with us since the very beginning, your loyalty is deeply cherished.
